Jamela Clark

Jamela Clark is a Research Project Manager at CORNERS: the Center for Neighborhood Engaged Research & Science. She received a BA in International Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MS in International Public Service from DePaul University. Jamela's research related interests are guided by participatory and community engaged practices which she has used to support various groups in conducting research on public policy implementation and outcomes within their respective communities. In her free time, Jamela enjoys gardening, watching K-dramas and spending time with her spouse and their three children.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
